As many of you know, I generally use two slogans: “Got Tiki?” and “Have You Had Your Tiki Today?”. Here are some fun ones from http://www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan.cgi

I wrote you a letter,
I know it was probably bold.
But now I’m felling much better,
I just wish I had you to hold
See I tried to let it go,
But I wouldn’t even if I could.
It seems you got me don’t you know,
I wanna know you like I know I should.
I don’t know what to do about the way I feel about you.
I don’t know what to say, it doesn’t matter any way.
But I miss you, even though I barely know you.
I wish I was with you now.

My best good friend, Steve, rode in his first MS-150 last year. He will be riding again this year (see his email below). I am asking those that are able and willing, to support his efforts in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. You can assist with a monetary donation, or by simply passing this along to your friends.
Aloha nui loa,
We had it very easy at the Tiki house, but here are a few photos. More pictures can be viewed at my flickr page. Best wishes to those who had actual damages from the storm.

Rest In Peace Mr. Moore
This is how my Monday night went. It was a slow night, but early in the evening I was standing in the dining room (i.e. outside) wondering where the rest of the customers were. While I was standing there, 3 cute Betties walked in and sat down. A couple minutes later, a server came to the bar and said there was a table asking for me. I walked over to find the 3 Betties who said “Are you Mark?” I answered yes and they went on to say that they were visiting from Michigan and were told they MUST come to the Golden Lion to have a drink prepared by me. We made small talk for a couple of minutes about T.S. Fay and what to do in Flagler Beach. I then went behind the bar and prepared them some shots. Thanks to the Michigan girls for brightening an otherwise dreary pre-storm Monday night.
p.s. the shots I made them? “Tight Snatch” shots of course…
