Guest Blog Post For Pat Croce’s Rum Barrel in Key West

Check out this guest blog posting for Pat Croce’s Rum Barrel in Key West. Launched in 2006 by former Philadelphia 76ers President Pat Croce, the Rum Barrel evokes the aura of a 17th-century pirate hangout. This southernmost Philly sports bar is the local hotspot for all things Philly.

Get That Blender Away From My Daiquiri

Today’s guest blog is from Mark Woods a.k.a. Tikitender. Mark is Florida’s 4-time Favorite Bartender, a social media maven, and principal bartender at The Golden Lion Cafe in Flagler Beach, Fla. Also, he rocks.

I once read about a bar owner who had a simple interview process for potential employees. He’d simply say, “Go behind the bar and make me a martini.” If the applicant reached for a bottle of vodka, the interview was over…

A Story Without Words

A Story Without Words

“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” -Albert Pine.

I’m not gonna lie, this made me water up. All credit to original post, but I don’t know the source.

My new website: MarkingTheDays (Updated)

I just purchased the domain markingthedays.com. I’m not really sure what I will do with it, but it is mine. I also renewed tikikooler.com for another year.

Domains I own that haven’t turned into anything yet:
www.flaglerbeachlive.com – The original idea was an entertainment site. Now I am leaning toward live webcam feeds. NOT to be confused with Flagler Live, which is an actual news site.
www.funcoastbartender.com – This is my idea for an event bartending service that just can’t seem to get out of the gate. I have a site designed, but don’t want to put the cart before the horse (or whatever that saying is).
www.markingthedays.com – I have been playing with a blog of this title, but am thinking of using this domain as the landing page for Mark Woods the bartender, social media specialist, promoter, husband, blogger, etc.
www.exchangestuff.org – This brainstorm came to me as a freecycle type site, except it is for borrowing stuff (e.g. camping equipment or tools) rather than buying a pressure washer to use it one time.
You know, just in case I didn’t have enough to do….
