You Can Help Fun Coast Bartending Grow!

Since 2009, through Kiva, I have made micro-loans to businesses & entrepreneurs around the world.  My loans have helped people in Sierra Leone, El Salvador, Uganda, and South Sudan.   Loans through Kiva help bakers buy supplies, mechanics buy tools, shopkeepers buy goods, and more.  My loans have always been paid back and I have always paid them forward to another business.  Kiva is an organization I believe and and am proud to support.

Recently, Kiva launched its Zip Loans program.  This program allows entreprenuers in more established areas like the United States to receive loans from Kiva lenders.  I am very excited to have been selected as a worthy business in this character-driven program.

Zip loans from Kiva are interest and collateral free.  YOU are my collateral!   The program will only post a loan for public funding after the applicant receives a few loans from his or her personal network.   This shows them that my friends & colleagues believe in me and my business.   There is no minimum amount that has to be raised, just a minimum number of lenders.  When I reach the pre-determined amount of lenders, my loan will become publicly funded and Fun Coast Bartending will be able to soar!

What is the purpose of this loan?

Like many entrepreneurs, there is a thin line between business and personal finance. This loan will provide a buffer, helping to limit the occasions when personal funds have to be used to pay for fixed costs and event supplies.

This loan wil help me pay off exisiting business costs and certify an additonal TIPS trainer. This will allow us to expand the training side of the business, ensuring that local servers of alcohol and businesses employing them are doing so in a responsible manner.

For as little as $25(which is repaid), you can help me take Fun Coast Bartending to the next level.    If you are able to help me get into the public funding stage, please click over to my loan page here:  https://zip.kiva.org/loans/15621/i/1u80

Can’t help financially? No one understands better than me!   Maybe you can take a moment to share this post with your network.   Mahalo nui loa for your time.  See you soon at a party near you!
